What is LifePoints Panel?
LifePoints Panel is an online market research platform that facilitates consumer engagement with major Brands, government entities, and other public organizations. Members express opinions that shape the development of future goods and services.
Companies and service organizations crave feedback to promote innovation and improve their offerings. They engage market research firms to help them gather data through surveys or opinion polls and focus groups. In exchange, consumers receive rewards for their participation.
Lightspeed Research Limited, the world’s largest provider of custom research and analytics, is the firm that owns and operates LifePoints. In early 2019, two survey platforms, MySurveys and GlobalTestMarket, combined to form LifePoints.
How Does LifePoints Work?
The LifePoints Panel has 5 million members in 70 countries across the globe. Anyone 16 or older can join. The LifePoints sign-up process is straightforward and fast. Here’s what the form looks like:
You will promptly receive an email. Just confirm your email address, and you’re off. You earn 10 points (LPs) for joining. You then complete a profile survey for another quick 50 points. It’s always vital to keep your profile up-to-date on survey sites because clients always request specific demographics.
LifePoints offers a clutter-free and easy to navigate platform. Unlike sites like Inbox Dollars that offer diverse earning opportunities like completing offers, watching videos, or viewing email advertisements, LifePoints focuses on gathering opinions and product feedback.
But, let’s talk about the various ways you might share your valuable thoughts.
LifePoints Surveys
Taking surveys is the primary way of making money through the LifePoints panel. Surveys cover a wide range of issues that we’re all familiar with based on everyday life experiences. Topics may include specific products and services, current social issues, television programs, or newspaper articles.
Survey times range from 10 to 60 minutes. Your award of LPs will vary based on the length of the survey and also the urgency. You receive survey notifications by email. Alternatively, you can log in to the site to see what’s available. The number of survey invites that you receive will vary based on your profile.
Again, organizations are eager for feedback from a relevant target market. Therefore, they will request participation from certain demographic groups. As a retiree in good health with no children living in my home, many surveys exclude me. But your experience may be very different.
Product Testing
On occasion, members may be asked to engage in more in-depth product test activities. Products may be sent to your home (it’s free). You then write a review based on your personal experiences with the product. Your honest feedback on the features you liked or the aspects you think could be improved are invaluable.
Testing can be a fun way to both learn about new products and to influence the development of those items.
Behavioral Tracking Diaries
At times, you may be asked to keep and submit a journal of certain consumer habits or behaviors as you perform activities. This is yet another way of gathering data regarding customer wants, likes, and dislikes that may trigger innovations.
Contests
Be sure to visit the community page for information on periodic contests offered. You may want to follow LifePoints on social media to participate.
LifePoints Rewards
Earn points (LPs) for your participation in LifePoints activities. First, you accumulate sufficient points. Then you can exchange those points for your desired reward. Choices are cash via PayPal, various e-gift cards, or donations to charity.
Frankly, I think the process of getting rewarded is more confusing than it needs to be. The conversion value of LPs varies with the reward you select. I much prefer a fixed conversion rate.
At the time of this review, the minimum number of LPs needed to receive a distribution is 541 points, which will get you a $5 Amazon gift card. If you prefer a $5 PayPal distribution, you need 600 LPs. And a $5 charitable contribution to Special Olympics requires 550 points.
Numerous additional gift cards are offered, such as $10 gift cards to iTunes, Applebees, or Barnes & Noble, but you need at least 1,080 points to qualify for these awards.
So, Is LifePoints Legit?
Yes, LifePoints Panel is unquestionably a legitimate platform. The owner, Lightspeed Research Limited, has been an influential player in the market research arena since they conducted their initial study back in 1946. There are many positive reactions from users on the Internet, including a TrustPilot rating of 4.4 stars.
They may be going through a period of transition based on the merging of two different survey platforms last year. Moreover, there is one disappointing change for folks who enjoy taking surveys on the go. As of 2019, the LifePoints mobile app is discontinued. So, currently, you must access surveys with a desktop device.
Something else to be aware of is that unlike many similar platforms, LifePoints does not have a referral program.
Final Thoughts
I hope you found this LifePoints Panel review helpful as you navigate the many choices for making money online. Once again, my answer to the question, is LifePoints legit, is a resounding yes. That said, LifePoints surveys may or may not be worth your time.
Taking surveys is undoubtedly a simple way to put a few extra bucks in your pocket each month. And, if that’s your goal, LifePoints may be an excellent site to add to the list of survey providers you regularly use.
It’s often a good idea to discover and join several [legitimate] sites. That way, you increase your chances of having surveys available when it’s most convenient for you. Just be sure to go into this with the right mindset.
Can you make some money? Absolutely! However, surveys are not designed to pay a lot, and no one is earning a life-changing income on LifePoints or any other survey platform.
Here’s another thought I will leave you with today. There are better avenues for anyone seeking more financial freedom. You can explore my personal choice for earning money online today. Getting started is totally free, and no credit card is required. So, what are you waiting for?
